Amenities & Services
Medications
During your hospital stay, the nursing staff will only administer medicine approved by your doctor. You should always carry a current list of medications with you. Some prescriptions, vitamins, over the counter medicines or herbal supplements could interfere with other medicines you receive during testing, surgery, or while you are in the hospital. Your doctors and nurses want to keep you safe while you are under their care.

You will be asked for this list if you have surgery, you are admitted to the hospital, or for some tests or procedures.

The medicine list should include:
  • Prescription medications
  • Over The Counter (OTC) medications
  • Vitamins
  • Herbal supplements
AND include:
  • Dosage or amount of medicine you are taking
  • Frequency or how often you take the medicine
  • Route or how you take the medicine.
AND why you are on these medicines. Please help us help you with your medication plan.

Please do not store anything of value in your room. We recommend leaving your valuables at home or ask friends or family members to store them for you.
