Pediatric Psychiatric Services
Lancaster General Psychiatric Associates welcomes child and adolescent psychiatrists Adam Biuckians, MD and Sherief H. El-Mallah, MD. Both are members of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. El-Mallah is board certified and Dr. Biuckians is board eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Drs. Buickians and El-Mallah specialize in the treatment of children aged 3 to 18 who are affected by psychiatric disorders and behavioral problems including:

- Depression
- Disruptive behaviors
- Impulse control problems
- Mood disorders
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Prior to seeing Dr. Biuckians or Dr. El-Mallah, new patients first meet with Kristin Yunghans, our Child & Adolescent Services Manager, who completes an intake assessment. Depending on the child’s needs, the psychiatrists may collaborate with the child’s parents, school, pediatrician and/or psychologist to manage the child’s unique situation and direct patient care.
