At Lancaster General, our vision is to create an extraordinary experience for patients and their families. With the opening of our convenient new Downtown Pavilion, we are able to move closer to that goal.
Located directly across the street from Lancaster General Hospital, the Downtown Pavilion is a beautiful four-story, 62,000-square-foot medical services building that was built with the convenience of our patients in mind. Many of the outpatient services that were previously offered at the hospital can now be accessed in this new building.

Patients will notice improvements in many of the practices and services as well, including streamlined registration procedures, larger waiting rooms and exam rooms and the convenience of having testing facilities located in one building. The Downtown Pavilion is connected to the hospital by a new glass pedestrian bridge that crosses over Duke Street.

Patients will also enjoy the ease of parking in our new parking garage, located adjacent to the Downtown Pavilion. Simply enter the facility from Duke Street and park on the ground floor or the first floor.
Offering a full range of outpatient services

Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Lancaster and Pulmonary Associates of Lancaster will also move to their new locations in the Pavilion on this day. On January 12, 2009, physical therapy services and Family Health Services will open, to be followed shortly thereafter by MRI.
