We put together this Web site for one purpose and that is to give you the intern candidate, the best most up-to-date information about our program as possible. Our interns helped develop this website and included information that they felt to be the most beneficial in assessing a potential internship site. If you glean one thing from reviewing this website we hope it is that we at Lancaster General Health provide training to pre-doctoral candidates because it is something we value and quite frankly derive considerable enjoyment doing. Our training program was developed over a period of years and continues to evolve with the goal of providing students with the best training experience possible.

 

While we strive to provide students with a wide range of experiences in the realm of clinical psychology there is a focus on neuropsychological assessment and treatment. Therefore, students with a background in neuropsychology might find our internship program to be particularly appealing. Although we take the training of our students very seriously and expect our students to perform with a high level of professionalism, efficiency and personal responsibility the training takes place in a collegial environment necessary to support the students’ personal goals and aspirations. I suspect those of you who are selected for a personal interview will find our staff to be clinically astute and personally approachable.
