The Mental Health Unit is designed to provide acute psychiatric care to patients ages 18 and over.  The unit is a closed unit that includes an Intensive Treatment Area for the close observation of seriously ill patients.  Most patients are voluntarily admitted, but several are admitted on an emergency basis and some patients are court-ordered involuntary commitments. The Nurse Manager is Gail DiBlasi.
