Mission:

The United Auxiliaries promotes and supports the development of the hospital through fund-raising, public relations, and volunteer services.

Opportunities for Giving:

Throughout the year, the United Auxiliaries organize several events to benefit Lancaster General Health programs. In more than 54 years of service, the Auxiliary has provided over $4.6 million for new equipment, facilities and programs. In addition, Auxiliary volunteers dedicate many hours to the hospital and the community through health promotion projects like their one-day conference, Women: A Day for You.  

 

 

Luminary for Life Event
The United Auxiliaries to LGH will be holding its second annual Luminaries for Life Event on Friday, October 2, 2009.  Luminaries will be illuminated across the Lancaster General bridge in recognition of October, Cancer Awareness Month. If you are interested in purchasing a luminary or luminaries to be placed on the bridge in memory, recognition of a loved one or to support the cause, please fill out the attached order form and mail to The United Auxiliaries Office by September 28. Your participation in this very worthy cause is appreciated by all the volunteers of the United Auxiliary. All monies will go towards Lancaster General Cancer Initiatives for our local communities fight against Cancer. Click here for more information and to register.
