How You Can Help Us

Each year, more than 23 percent of VNA Community Care Services’ patients lack sufficient funds to cover the cost of their home health care. Some patients are not eligible for Medicare or Medicaid coverage while others do not have access to private insurance.

  • When you make a financial contribution to our Community Care Fund, you allow us to extend our services to all qualified low-income, under-insured patients.
  • By helping those with limited resources gain access to home health care, you ultimately assist the local community by freeing up hospital beds for those who need them the most.

You can assist VNA Community Care Services through donations of either your “treasure” or your time. Let your giving reflect who you are. Your greatest reward will be the joy of knowing your generosity has made a difference for a neighbor in need. We welcome and appreciate your support.

VNA Community Care Services is a tax-exempt charitable organization and donations are fully tax-deductible.

Giving of Your “Treasure”

  1. Earmark your dollars for a specific equipment purchase that supports our care, such as telehealth
  1. Contribute to an established fund that honors nursing excellence:
The Agnes M. Palko Memorial Fund
This fund, created by a Lancaster County family in loving memory of their mother, provides annual scholarship dollars to outstanding nurses for certification in areas that enhance the delivery of home care, e.g. cardiac care, wound care.

The Ann Wright Yancy Fund
Created in loving memory of a former VNA Community Care Services nurse, this fund annually recognizes nurses who demonstrate excellence in home health care.
