Admissions

If the Emergency Department physicians or your primary care physician determines that you need to be admitted to the hospital, it will be necessary to arrange for an inpatient hospital bed. Since admissions from the Emergency Department are unscheduled, it may take some time to make space available. You will be cared for in the Emergency Department until a room is ready for you.
