Sometimes the waiting area appears quiet, but this does not mean that the Emergency Department is not busy. Our team will do their very best to keep your wait to a minimum and to keep you and your family comfortable and informed while waiting. If, during your wait, you feel that your condition has changed, please let a member of the Emergency Department team know immediately. You may be asked to return to the triage area for re-evaluation.
